Beloved colleague

During the shift handover after colleague A from the previous shift already left before doing a proper handover.

Colleague #1 : Oh well, we know his heart is in the right place.
Colleague #2: I'll remember that.
Colleague #3: Also remember to stab upwards or your knife might bounce on his ribs.
Colleague #2: I'll remember that too.

The downside to working shifts is you're always cleaning up the mess the shift before you made of things. Especially annoying when all they had to do was one check and somehow manage to screw that up, each and every time.
