TSW - Starting Out in London

  1. It's been a while since we heard much, it's a nice video, parts made me think about Vampire Masquerade - Bloodlines (different city and continent I know). Some nice art work and good atmosphere from the in-game segments.

  2. Now where'd that pesky "like" button go?

  3. 1st thought: I'm so going to play a Malkavian in there
    2nd thought: Damn!
3rd thought: I'd not be surprised to learn that Troika were EU based and some of their folks ended up at Funcom based upon the art style and feel.

(Troika made the second Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines game)

  4. Very nice! Just the idea of a game set in modern times gets me excited. But they managed to show some nice details. The puppet master looked awesome. The combat scene good. The GW-ish idea of a limited 7 active and 7 passive powers sounds great. The whole metro area looked slick to me. I will love to play there! TSW is still the game I look most forward too.

That's probably the main draw to this game for me. It'll be a refreshing change from the typical fantasy and scifi fare we get in MMOs (can I even say that? After all, I suppose you could consider TSW to be a blend of fantasy and scifi...lol).

  6. Yeah, I think TSW will be filled with fantasy trolls, golems, possibly even elves. And we will fight them with laser guns, magic bolts, temperal displacement beams and neutron emitters. But I can do all that with an avatar I could see walking down the street. And that is what might make is special. I can imagine the live my avatar lived before she got thrown into this mess. I can do that in any fantasy game as well, but I will need to imagine the entire history of that world. I kinda know the world I live in now.
